Well, first, in trance music do you use arps and if so when and how I know there are tons of arp presets but I would like to make my own so I dont feel like a cheater lol. So that leads to my second question. Is the arpeggiator how you create arps Im only familiar with FLs basic features so I havent messed with them yet. And if so, is a VST like this one how you can create your own I know I just asked for alot, and sorry But if you would rather make a tutorial about this that would be fine too. Thanks again ánd love yóur tuts Reply Pétri Suhonen on 24032011 13:09 Jon, thats a good question Arpeggios are widely used in trance. Arpeggio is á musical technique whére notes in á chord are pIayed in sequence oné after the othér rather than simuItaneously. Arpeggiator automatically steps through a sequence of notes based on an input chord. You can create them manually by hand by laying the notes one-by-one like the arpeggiator would do. So in FL Studio you go to Piano Roll, pick a chord and lay the notes one-after-another. Also, many of the synthesizers have built in arpeggiators and usually theyre programmable meaning you can manipulate the order and speed in which the notes play: upwards, downwards or in a random order.
